Much to my surprise upon returning home today my new shutters had arrived. They're quite exceptional and extremely heavy. I was able to check and they all look great. Thank you for your help once again.

Yes I’ve ordered with you before and the shutters continue to look really good. Here in upstate New York the problem is not only moisture but also freezing. The moisture gets in the cracks, freezes and separates the wood. Fortunately the shutters I purchased from you continue to perform well. One order was in 2013 & one in 2016

Thanks for the email. The shutter brackets are quite nice and I have had many compliments on the shutters. I stained them and used copper covers on the top of each shutter as well as brass screws to fasten the battons onto the boards. I will defintiely use you guys again.

Hello Mike Below is a picture with our new shutters. We renovated a 1940's home and decided to replace all of the shutters. Sunbelt was terrific. Your pricing and delivery were extremely competitive. You kept us well informed of the status of our order. Everything arrived as promised - right size, right quantity, primed, and well packaged. I was initially worried about delivery when I heard the shipping weight and that the shutters were all in one crate. I didn't know how I could get them unloaded at our house. However, the delivery service came prepared with a tailgate lift and dolly allowing the driver to put the crate just where we needed it. I am a huge fan. Thanks

My shutters were delivered several weeks ago, and I am so very pleased with them. They are beautiful and with such unexpected details as the rounded edges that add to their appearance. I decided to have them professionally hung on each side of my main large window in the front of my home, and I had them painted the same soft tan as my window trim. I especially like the spacing between the three boards – I had driven around and noticed other shutters on homes and that is how I decided on the board and batten with spacing. Anyway, you did a great, professional job. These are my Christmas present from me to me. Thank you for your great work!

mike! actually, the whole thing was perfect. the order interface is flawless, and apparently my timing was perfect, as I got into the orders being built the following day, so I got them in less than a week. I didn't hang them, but instead used one as a top for a console table I built with salvaged corbels as legs. I emailed Michelle pictures. The other one will be my cold fireplace mantle, but I haven't started that yet. You guys did a great job, thanks!

I finally unpacked, inspected, primed and painted the shutters you sent. After inspecting the shutters I really did not want to cover your meticulous woodwork with paint. I had a great experience with my shutter order. I have not hung them yet due to some other repair priorities which came up first. But I will hang them in the next month. The shutters seem to be of great quality. They were customized per my instructions perfectly. The thing which impressed me the most was the way they were packaged for shipment. So many times I order things on line and the packaging is so poor that the purchased items are damaged or so close to being damaged that it was a miracle they weren't. But these shutters from Sunbelt were packaged excellently! None of the corners were even crushed. So this was the most impressive thing of all concerning my order. I need to remember your company's name so that I order all my future shutters through you. I have had trouble finding a good shutter manufacturer so I am happy I stumbled across Sunbelt.

I could not have ask for better service. The shutters were received ahead of schedule and in excellent condition. They have been painted two coats but have not been installed, mainly because the wood behind the old shutters has to be washed and painted. The area has not been painted since the home was built. I’m a teacher who’s now back to school, so I’ve yet to finish my last two coats of paint and hang my shutters. Let me say though, that I was very pleased with the quality of the shutters as well as how they were shipped. We’ve ordered many different items online before (including an entire kitchen from a well-known Swedish furniture giant). Not only was your product delivered within the time window you provided, but it was a complete order and was packaged beautifully. The primer was smooth and seems to be providing a good surface for my semi-gloss trim paint. When the shutters are hung, I’ll need to send photos. By the way, do you have any suggestions for hanging these shutters? I’ve found kits online, but I hesitate to drill holes through the entire shutter – isn’t there a bracket system that could be mounted to the backs of the shutters. We’re planning on hanging these shutters in a purely decorative fashion – I’ve considered adding false iron hinges down the road, but want to see them on the house before doing that. Thank you for manufacturing a quality, American-made product.

Our shutters look fabulous! We just got them put up so this response is extremely delayed. We put five coats of a Sikkens formula on them and had special clips produced to install so that we need not drill through the shutters. My husband and neighbors love them.

I was pleased with the entire experience. The shutters were a little heavier than I expected, but we managed to hang them in my recreation room (see attached photos) and it completes the scene by tying the window into the mural of a French cafe I visited once on the opposite wall. In this case, they were largely decorative, but they are solidly made and would have functioned just as well as regular shutters on the outside of the house. The shutters are great and the packaging was outstanding! Other companies should take a lesson in protective packaging from you all there at Sunbelt! Unfortunately, they are still sitting on sawhorses in the garage at the moment waiting to be rimed and painted as a few other “plumbing” issues have come up in the house that I’ve been concentrated on. At the rate things are going here, I suspect it’ll be getting to cold to get out and prime/paint/hang them before the month is out as I haven’t even had the chance to paint the bulk of the house yet! Too much to do, too much to do… Overall the ordering process was sterling. I ordered them online – the site was easy to use and I have no complaints. The follow-up during the construction process was also spot-on with timely emails alerting me to the status of my order. I never had to talk with anyone personally as there were no issues! Smooth and efficient – exceptional process flow from order to delivery in all aspects from my perspective. As soon as things calm down and the proverbial flood gates have closed I be returning to the task of painting the house and shutter. I can’t say it’ll happen this year, but by next spring definitely. The shutters look great, I painted them with latex high gloss enamel and already got some one to hang them. Thankfully I measured correctly and they match those with my other second floor window. Please check out the attached photos of the shutters we ordered from your company. As you can tell from one of the pictures I am still in the act of residing the house and may be ordering shutters to go with the window that I installed on the side of the house! We do not currently have air condition in the house and with the front of the house facing the west the sun pours in and keeps the house warm in the winter but too hot for the summer! I installed the shutters in September and we immediately felt the difference. Our house was noticeable cooler! So we are very much pleased with the purchase of the shutters. I do not want anything from you in return for this statement. I bought shutters from you for my house which has large, oversized windows, and I gave specifications for custom sized raised panels of unusual dimensions. You took the order with enthusiasm and did the math to make certain the shutters I tried to describe were manufactured with correct proportions. When you were not satisfied with your paint at first, you told me that you weren't happy, rather than saying nothing and sending them along. The finished shutters were ideal and much better than we expected. They were made really quickly, done right with excellent materials, and sent to me packaged very carefully. There were no imperfections in a whole large truckload. I was really impressed with the careful packing. Your price was much lower than I could find in Nebraska anywhere and much lower than the larger firms in the East which I used when I lived there years ago. They are great shutters and I have no complaints. It is one of the few things about redoing my house which has gone well. Thank you for your help.

The pricing for Cyprus wood with a prime coat was very competitive, and in fact was the least expensive that I found searching the custom shops.
